Armanda Morles joins TUA as the new Product Manager

We are thrilled to welcome Armando Morles to The Urban Advisory as our new Product Manager!

He will be working with our partners at URBANLY, on our decision-support platform designed to solve the hard questions shaping the future of cities across Aotearoa NZ. Armando specialises in navigating complex, multi-variable systems and translating high-level policy and strategic intent into build-ready outcomes. He brings an incredible mix of product leadership, technical management, and a genuine passion for the future of our cities.

He specialises in:

Product-Led Thinking in Complex Teams: Armando brings a pragmatic, product-led philosophy to multidisciplinary environments, helping align technical specialists, subject matter experts, and stakeholders around shared goals and clear outcomes.

Spatial Product Experience: Having previously built data and analytics products at EROAD, Armando is comfortable working with map-based interfaces and spatial data as a decision layer, not just a technical detail.

Complex System Delivery: With experience rebuilding legacy enterprise platforms from the ground up, he knows how to keep commercial roadmaps and technically demanding builds aligned.

An AI-Native Workflow: Armando integrates advanced AI tools into the full product lifecycle as a core method, compressing discovery, generating specifications faster, and holding analytical complexity in the definition process. This is critical for a platform integrating land use, transport, market dynamics, and environmental constraints.
