TUA provided grant funding advice, for Taro Patch Creative; a niche social services provider specialising in Pacific digital storytelling.
The Challenge
Taro Patch needed to secure several funding streams in line with its short, medium, and long-term organisational requirements. It required short-term funding for operational needs, medium-term funding for renovations, and long-term funding to expand operations by purchasing a building for a fully-fledged film studio.
The Solution
TUA researched and presented funding opportunities within the creative industries, and those that cater towards the Pacific community. TUA also provided grant writing best practice advice, databases for grants and alternative funding sources.
The Journey
TUA’s report was based on developing an understanding of Taro Patch’s needs; the organisation’s high level outcomes; and what it wants to achieve through the use and ownership of property. This was then broken down into important milestones that needed to be reached in order to achieve the long-term goal of acquiring a property.
